Treat your kids to healthier, fun treats this Halloween!

Want to give out healthier treats this Halloween?  Here are some tasty suggestions that are definitely treats, not “tricks”:

  •  Small bags of pretzels
  • 100% Fruit Roll-ups, or Fruit leather from Trader Joe’s
  • small granola bars
  • boxes of raisins
  • small packages of peanuts or sunflower seeds
  • snack-sized bags of animal crackers, graham crackers, or goldfish
  • sugar-free chewing gum
  • individually-wrapped string cheese

Alternatively, how about non-food suggestions that are inexpensive and neat?
coloring books and crayons (for younger children)

  • spider rings!   Who doesn’t love spider rings?
  • halloween stickers
  • halloween pencils and erasers
  • vampire teeth (just $8 for a set of 144!)
  • halloween-themed  beads or key charms from a party supply store

How Delicious do these Sound?

  • Organic dried Blueberrys wrapped in Dark Cholocate
  • Roasted, Salted Almonds
  • Organic Cranberry Harvest Mix
  • Real Japanese Organic Rice Crackers
  • Veggie Chips (sweet potato, squash, carrot, green beans)

All of these will be available at the Neighborhood Green Fair on Halloween between 10AM and 3PM! Be sure to visit and get some!
